Noctua painting mod

Would it be safe to repaint the stock fans that came with the noctua nh-d15?? If so what a safe spray paint or any type of paint I can use. 
I want to paint the fans black.

The best is to dye it so it doesn't mess up the surface of the fan of the airflow going over it, this is less of an issue but if you lay paint too heavy on the fan blade it can possibly cause it to be unbalanced so just be sure to use light coats if you do plan to paint it. Regular spray paint will work just be sure to clean all surfaces and cover any wires, PCB's or possibility of paint getting into the hub.
