First PC Build Thoughts and Advice

1. Budget & Location
Total $1200, $CAD - Has to include PC components, case extras/ lighting, peripherals and a monitor.

2. Aim
Casual Adventure, FPS, Strategy, MOBA and MMORPG Gaming. General workload, I'm in uni so nothing too strenuous.
3. Monitors
1. Might move up to 2 in the future. Not looking for anything fancy, I'm fine with a 1080-1440p 60Hz monitor.
4. Peripherals
I need all the peripherals, preferably in red or red back lighting to go with my red and black build. I would like a mechanical keyboard eventually but I know that might not squeeze into the budget right now.
5. Why are you upgrading?
I've never built or owned my own personal desktop computer and I'm really eager to learn and build my first. Also excited to be joining the pc gaming community and would really like to have the rig and everything to enjoy over the summer.

Here's my current build and peripherals excluding the OS and a 1TB HD which I already have.

Really just looking for feedback, advice, and maybe any warnings people may have for me that will make this process easier, worthwhile and successful. Any advice that relates to performance improvements whilst remaining within budget would be greatly appreciated. Also any potential issues you see in the future would also be extremely helpful. Thanks :D
