Best SSD for $150 (at least 250gb)

I have been looking at a good SSD to buy for my rig and I am looking for one around $150 and with good performance as well as consistency. Any suggestions?

Motherboard has Sata III (6Gbps) and Windows 8.1 (until Windows 10)

Saw a couple of Transcend drives in that price range but nothing that caught my eye so yeah, skipping over m.2.

So as far as 2.5 drives these have my vote
