Can't say I've ever seen Windows 8 for cheaper than the introductory price of around $120. IIRC, we have it at Staples for roughly $106, but in all honesty, Google is going to be your friend in this case.

Actually, that could work. I know my college has free operating systems and programs through the MSDNAA Web Store. We have access to server and desktop versions of Windows dating back to 2003 (XP was just removed with the first of the year).

yes. i sent Microsoft proof that i am student so they can approve me so i would able to buy Win8 for 60€ but it says that will take 3-5 working days before i get approved. But i dont want to wait :D i just got new Cpu, Mobo and ram today and i want to use new components as quick as possbile.  I have no patience :D ahhaha

I don't know anywhere else that is cheaper, and it seems legit.
