My new pc build. Could use some help!

Hello everybody,

I'm starting a new build and would appreciate some feedback because this is my first build.

I will mostly play games on it and do some video editing for my work.

This is my setup:

Moterboard: Asus x99 Deluxe

CPU: Intel i7 5820k

Cooler: Corsair H110

Ram: Crucial Ballistix Sport 2x8GB or 4x4GB (DDR4 is still very expensive, i will upgrade this later on when it is cheaper)

GPU: Asus GTX 980

PSU: Cooler Master v850w

SSD: Samsung 850 evo 500GB (for OS and important software)

HDD: WD Black 2TB (for mass storage)

Case: still no clue, i always liked the NZXT H440 Razer or the Corsair 780t. could use some good advise on this...

Monitor: Asus PB278Q (my work can get one of those for free so wan't a hard choice)

So if anyone has a opinion or tips i would like to hear them, and any good case options will be considered.

Thanks alot guys :)

Unless you're working on very demanding video projects, get a 4790k instead.

Wow guys thanks for the fast replies! i'm going with the 5820k because i will be doing some video editing, and also i won't be building a new pc every year so when i do it i wan't to do it right. i can indeed go with 2x4GB ram could save me some bucks here and there and upgrade in the future if i need it. Also if anybody has a good looking, and quality case in mind to match this set i would like to hear it!
