So much bull in one sentence

Deadman957

I came across this HP envy phoenix and thought I would look up a review of it and well there is a section called performance and the first sentence is "Since this computer is made for gaming, the performance is out of this world." Then i thought that it must quite a nice GPU in it but how I was wrong "The GPU is an NVIDIA GeForce GT 640, which packs 4GB of video RAM for awesome textures and quick-loading maps."  I couldn't believe what I just read. the guy who wrote this review doesn't seem to know much about graphics hardware. Here is a link if you want to read it

Yeah.. Textures load quicker with more VRAM.. But that is not how you should say it :P

He doesn't even have any benchmarks.. So yeah, not a very good review

Its for dumb people who know nuts about what they're getting.

I wouldn't call them dumb, just un-educated, it's not like we all knew the be all and end all of GPU hardware when we first started with PC's.

It amazes me that they can get away with saying things like that

To me the whole website looks like giant scam to get people into buying stuff using their affiliate amazon links.

Nothing against HP but they really know how to market to dumb people, they think they get a kick ass machine but in reality it sucks I mean they'll find out when they try and run AAA games.

Seriously, marketing like that needs to stop ASAP!! It's bad for business and the consumer!
