In ear noise cancelling

Rough Draft

I'm a welder and I listen to pod casts and music all day. Right now I'm using some cheap skull candy in ear that I bought at the corner store.

They block some noise out but if I am grinding or cutting I either have to pause my podcast or crank the volume and try to hear...

What I'm looking for is some noise cancelling in ear that aren't going to cost a ton of money, I'm a welder so cutting and melting cords is not uncommon... Say around $100 I don't really know what they are worth.

Thanks for your time and help :)

Also I use the inline button lots so would be nice if they headphones had that...

Bluetooth is just gonna add to the price so I'd about that.

In-Ear noise cancelling are pretty dang expensive (Bose QC20i = $299  ) ,mainly due to noise cancelling requiring a battery to power the NC feature. So in-ears with noise isolation is the less expensive choice.

Shure se215s are a great choice for $99 on Amazon, they provide great isolation and have a balanced sound. The in-line mic version is $50 more.

And the Sennheiser Momentum In-ears w/ mic are $99. Sound is amazing, and the isolation is adequate.

Signature unda construction... in the meantime. Tell me more about yourself. I'm sure you've got an interesting story.

The shure look nice and the cable is removable so that would be good in case I burn it or whatever only thing is due dine reason the replacement cables are freaking expensive. The one with the 3 button remote is 60 bucks

Also the three button mic version lists compatibility with every apple product on the face of the earth but nothing else... I'm assuming this would work fine with Android phones as well...

I'm sure it will. I found that the Urbanite cable which also claims Apple compatibilty works with my Moto X just fine.

Dude I'm a welder too and HAVE to where ear plugs all day and was wondering about some good noise canceling ear buds. That way i can jam out and not just stare at what I'm welding all day.

Be warned a LOT of reviews complain that the cable falls apart on the cords that have the built in mic. Apparently the stock cable is better though, I kind of wanted the buttons for pausing my music :/
