Thank you all for the time :D

looks nice, as for the GPU the best one is the Gigabyte G1 gaming, but between evga and MSI, id go for the EVGA, but make sure its the SSC model, as it has an updated cooler that the others don't have, not even the FTW

I disagree, 500W is more than enough for an 80W CPU.

And a 290? 650 would give you some headroom.

TDP is 275 which is high but since the CPU is 80W, It's like owning a 4790K & GTX 970 power-wise which can handle 400W.

I would say go for a 750W or 850W if you plan to crossfire in the future otherwise save your money and get a 500W.

:o  a friend of mine told me E3 1230 V3 is enough for this setup, so should I change to i7?

No but better value for money and like 6% less performance but if you have the money then go for the 970.

Yeah it's enough but thats a server-grade processor. Not sure how well it would run compared to an i7 in games

750W 850W seems a little overpower, how about the EVGA 600W?

750W/850W for SLI. EVGA 600W would be fine for a single card!

I prefer EVGA's PSU's anyway.

If its only $20 more than get the 290. A 500w will be fine for the 970 but for cable managements sake try and squeeze in a semi modular power supply.

well the 4790k is unlocked so overclocking is a thing, but value/money the xeon wins

How is the system to be used? I would suggest a better psu. SeaSonic M12II 620 Bronze would be a great choice.

r9 290 is better than GTX 970?

No.

:o  a friend of mine told me E3 1230 V3 is enough for this setup, so should I change to i7?

All depends on how the system will be used.

750W 850W seems a little overpower, how about the EVGA 600W?

750W is much more than needed. For that matter, even 600W is a bit over what is needed. Anything over 500W would be enough capacity.

so compare E3 1230 V3 to 4790k, which one have the better value for money?

Depends on how the system will be used and what the budget is. The i7-4790K has a 700MHz faster clock and on-chip gpu. The Xeon has marginally better memory handling.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
