There is no plan to mod the case, but I might do some wrapping down the line.

 

 

Status: Scan.co.uk still havent gotten the case into stock, so guess it will be a bit longer then planned before I get the case.

Just to do something, so did I setup my EK-Supremacy EVO, with the right parts.

At the same time, so did I test my cam setup, so I can upload pictures while I work with the pc.

Just to log my before temprature, so did I run folding@home for 10,5h.

CPU temp: 87 C
GPU1 temp: 70 C
GPU2 temp: 77 C

 

and for control Room temp: 22,8 C

Note that this is without overclocking.

Better fans where not in budget this round, so I had to use the case fans.

 

So there will be another round on this project, some time next month.

That's not very much actually.

The old CPU, guess bad termalpaste has to take some of the blame for bad performence.

First GPU has gotten its block and backplate on, as well as terminal has been put on.

There dont appare to be anything wrong with the cooler or the fans, so guess it was bad termalpaste and bad airflow, that caused my problems. Unless the cooler is broken or not good enough. I will have it tested later to be sure of the cause.

The old case, after I removed most of the components. I left the motherboard, as that was the easiest place to store it.

Its EKs recommended method and listed in there manual. So thats the method I use for this build.

I added an extra 140mm fan from my old case, to offset the power of the top fans some more.
