They're DXRacer / NeedForSeat chairs and IMO they're pretty terrible. Go for a good brand office chair instead like HÅG or Kinnarps. Most of them can be found in great shape second hand for less than 100 bucks, even down to 20 bucks.

DXRacer chairs, JayzTwoCents did a video on a King series one. I think I'm going to be buying one sometime.

Care to explain why you think they are terrible?

You need to make sure to choose something supremely comfortable.  Don't go overboard on style over substance, you are not some emperor/king.  Personally, I went with something low key and fitting my station.

HÅG or Kinnarps.

If nothing else, those names alone are enough for me to want to buy those chairs. They sound so exotic :D

I'm currently rocking a Kinnarps 6000 that I got for 50 bucks (about 1/10 of new price, which is not unusual to see for chairs like these), it is without a doubt the best money I have ever spent.

Definitely. The ones I have been in contact with (3 different models, although what specific models I have no clue about), have all been too wide and failed to provide any kind of support (which in the real world (ie racing) is the purpose of seats like these), the upholstery is a terrible colored plasticy wannabe leather sewed onto hard padding in the sloppiest fashion possible. The fit and finish is straight up terrible, and while this could be forgiven if the chairs were actually comfortable and supportive, that is sadly not the case. They are also way too expensive. If you want a racing style computer chair buy a second hand OMP, Recaro etc seat (can all be had for fairly cheap) and mount it on an old office chair base, the end result will be miles ahead of what DXRacer offers.

I don't know what you got, but my dxracer is nice leather and basically the opposite of what you've said. I can sit in it butt ass naked in the middle of summer and it doesn't get all sweaty, and it doesn't get super cold when it's cooler either. The temperature adjusts beautifully, and it's just like a proper bucket seat.

That being said, if I was paying money (I won it at pax prime 2013) for a chair I'd go for a $200-300 high backed leather executive chair instead. I like to sit on one foot most of the time and the seat doesn't really allow that. I also like to lean back but the way the seat rests I can't just lean I have to push up with my legs.
