If he is a student you can get Windows for 70 dollars on the Microsoft or try to find a electronics site with a good sale going on, but I would not trust a third party key reseller especially with what has been going on lately with uPlay and FC4.

My Build

 - i5 4670k @ 4.4GHz - MSI z87m Mobo - 16Gb 1866MHz RAM - MSI R9 290 - Samsung 840 EVO 250Gb - 2 x 1Tb WD Blue - CX600m - H55 AIO cooler - Fractal Node 804 - Lg 25um64-s Ultrawide screen monitor -  http://pcpartpicker.com/user/colec18/saved/9FKXsY

I had a windows 8.1 key bought from G2A.com...... and it was fine till 2 days ago when I did a fresh install of the OS. Microsoft have blocked the key I bought from them as pirated, so no more windows 8 for the moment. I am now currently having to use windows 10 tech preview till I can afford an OEM version of 8.1 pro from a reputable computer shop, as Microsoft themselves charge £189 in the uk for a new windows pro key. Luckily I am only out of pocket by around £12 or so, so not a totally big deal for me.  But I think people would be wise to avoid windows keys from G2A.com.
