Gigabyte GTX 770 Overclocking help

Go to solution Solved by Raudi_,

http://prntscr.com/5xupy1That is what I see and idk how much the bar is effecting the minimum clock speed or maximum.

Welcome to the world of GPU Boost 2.0 for Nvidia, put the card under load like in Ungine Valley and watch MSI Afterburner as it will boost to its max clock speed. Make sure its stable at stock speeds before doing any overclock on it.

Note: I'm on refrence cards with the Titan Cooler:

When you  start doing overclocking the sliders are just adding a offset to the boost clock speed which will end up looking like so:

Hello, I have recently purchased a GTX 770 from Gigabyte. I have had some trouble over clocking it. When at idle the card underclocks its self. So when I enter MSI afterburner the clock speeds are really low and I don't understand how to increase the clock speed effectively. The problem isn't that i dont know how to use the sliders but simply i don't know how my overclock will affect the GPU/clockspeeds its self if someone would be able to link to a good source or even create a video yourself that would be appreciated if you have skype or teamviewer and want me to show you the problem I have been having then please contact me on here.

Thanks in advance :)

The card is supposed to underclock when its at idle if you don't want it to do that then go to the Nvidia Control panel and set performance mode to prefer maximum Performance like so.

That is not the problem. The problem is that I cant tell how much I move the sliders will affect the card. due to the fact it is underclocked.

Are you talking about something like this?

This is my afterburner with no profile applied.

How did you get your afterburner to look like that?

Just curious it looks really cool.

Okay I see now I am going to do a little testing and see if I can get a stable clock

Its version 4.3 the lastest brought a new UI that you can use if you want to.
