screen resolution set at 1920x1080 but is actually 2400x1350

Tomass91

Hello,

So I just installed my new 24' monitor which should be at 1920x1080. When I look in screen resolution both in nvidia control panel and in windows screen resolution it say it's 1920x1080... BUT eveythings kinda blurry and all my 1920x1080 pictures do not come close to filling the screen. So I did a check online for what my screen is and apprently it is at 2400x1350 :S.

How can I fix this? thanks in advance.

OS: windows 8.1
graphics card: nvidia gtx 970
screen: AOC G2460FQ

I have never heard of that resolution, and the AOC website lists the monitor as a 1920 x 1080 @144Hz display.

What cable are you using to connect to the monitor?

@Tomass91

DSR might be enabled. Turn that off

Set your res less than 1080, apply changes, set back to 1080. My monitor did something similar and this is how I fixed it.
