Is this a good internet speed?

IMPERIUS

Speedtest said 23 ping, about 3mbps and 0.37mbps upload speed.

On origin it said 370kbps (while downloading a game), why was that to low?

Longboarders/ skaters message me!

Origin gave you MB/s, speediest gave you Mbps.

1 MB is about 8 Mb

Wait so if my speedtest says 50MB/s im suppose to have ~6 Mb per second while downloading? Why do I only get ~1Mb per second?

That isn't an exceptional internet speed but it'll get the job done if you're just browsing the web.

Music/Games/Files on Google Chrome mostly.

Then it appears that your ISP is throttling your connection...that or the sites you are downloading from are slow

2, your download speeds are barely enough for 480p youtube and your upload speed is horrendous. If you want to enjoy the fruits of what the internet has to offer, you really want to have 25+ mb/s.

No, I watch 720p yt videos without loading, I could do 1080p with rare buffering. For the upload speed I don't know if I care, I don't post pics or have a blog

Your speedtest is in Mb/s and steam/origin is in MB/s. So if you're getting 50Mb/s on speedtest, that translates to ~6MB/s. Hope that cleared things up.

I stand corrected! I guess youtube has worked on its compression and data rates over the past few years

I only get 15 mb/s down and can watch 1440p videos fine :)

It seems impossible until it's done.

Youtube is one thing by itself, but the real test is for your internet to hold up to downloading many GBs of music, games, videos, files while simultaneously enjoying your 1440p YT video and have a video call running in the background.

Why would I want to do this though?
