How to update Intel HD with Nvidia installed?

Tim Drake

For a while I had both installed but then I needed to update my Intel and now I have two mouse pointers and Intel took over and I have the Intel control center along with Nvidia control panel

What do I do :'(

P.S I need it installed because I stream with Quick Sync

No, I'm just wondering how you'd have two mouse pointers. I'm utterly curious.

It seems that the two drivers are conflicting. One mouse sits in the corner. Sometimes it goes away but I want a proper way of doing it.

Remove both drivers and remove nvidia card then connect your monitor to the hd graphics and install the hd graphics driver.

Then install your card and connect your monitor to the card and install the latest nvidia driver , it can be done easier but this is guaranteed to work.

You should just be able to go update your Intel iGPU without any problem, but you're saying that you're having problems doing this?
