So I just built my new pc and I have started to play games and I am getting like 30-60 fps on regular minecraft that's how bad it is.... I have the gtx 970 and I5 4690... ( I have installed the latest drivers) i think that my system is using the Intel hd graphics so if it is how do I change that? (Windows 7 pro)

You have the card plugged in and everything?

Try going in to your BIOS and see what it says.

(not very good with Nvidia cards but I'm trying) xD

Yeah did you plug your monitor cable into your graphics card or into your processor?

Check your GPU utilization on MSI afterburner.
