My new keyboard with cherry mx green switches is a great ergonomic

improvement over my previous keyboard. I still don't think it's better

than membrane, but it sure as heck is delicious to type on. Best

investment in a long time.

18 hours a day.. not exaggerated at all.......

well, it's on and off- music while driving, occasionally checking on stuff during class, checking twitter and stuff while using laptop, some social apps that are not available on the desktop.. etc Basically, I'm with my phone about 18 hours a day. I sleep next to it, but that doesn't count.

Most recent: Logitech G402 Hyperion Fury gaming mouse ... finally found a gaming mouse for my large, long hands. Still could be better. And neat that it's a mouse with an accelerometer and gyroscope.

Most used: iPad Air ... so handy.

Most niche: Asus PCE-AC56 2x2 WIFI-AC PCI card ... the only WIFI card with a large heatsink, so the GPU won't burn the WIFI chip.

Most wonderful: Belkin BV112230-08 12-outlet Surge Protector ... Wow, the most perfectly designed powerbar that I have ever seen in the world. And the most beautiful powerbar I've ever seen. The plug outlets are widely spaced apart, thank goodness.

Honorable mentions: Nvidia GTX 970 ... Xbox 360 Wireless Controller ... Sony X2 Bluetooth Speaker

My favorite tech purchase of 2014 is my Lenovo Y50 gaming laptop. I'm currently deployed and this allows us to play the newest games (after downloading for like a week) on the big screen. It's turned so many console players' heads, them asking thing like, "Is that playing from your computer?"
