Good Router/Modem Combo for around $60-$70

So I'm tired of paying Comcast a monthly fee to rent something that just is utter crap and was wondering what a good Router/modem Combo would be for around the $60 or $70 dollar range. The Requirement is that my wife VPNs into work so she can work from home I don't know if that's a Feature or not but I would imagen some one on these forums VPNs into work so I would like some ideas. Also I'm a gamer the casual Battle Field 4 and some MMO game play if that matters.

You can get pretty much any router at that point, but most routers I would reccomend are $100 or more by themselves, as cheap routers die quickly in many cases. Othwerwise, just grab a really cheap tp-link wireless-N gigabit router. 

 

I VPN into work and I have the SB 6141. Same unit, just mine supports more channels and higher speeds.
