Need chair help, leather is killing me lol

Octavialicious

Hey, it seems I need a new chair. Me and leather don't seem very compatible... It keeps giving me rashes and acne breakouts on my arms and now my legs... Not bueno.

Here's what I'd like in a chair:

- not leather :P

- a lot of padding (mein back = bad)

- wheels

- if it's available at a store, that would be awesome (IKEA, Office Depot, etc would be ideal)

Anyone have any ideas? Ikea didn't have anything that appealing.

edit: Forgot a budget. Under 150 would be ideal, but 200+ may be an option if it's truly top notch.

Go to a local store and find one that you like.

if you're much like me, a lot of padding is a bad thing on the back. the most comfortable office chair had a completely mesh back with good lumbar support instead of padding. I have scoliosis AND kyphosis, but that was an ergohuman which is quite pricy

hm, that might be a good thing to consider. I'll try to see if I can try out some mesh chairs tomorrow

Even though it lacks a lot of cushions, that looks extremely comfy... I think they have one in stock at my local store so I'll check it out

Ty for the picture :D

Were these the Ikea chairs that didn't appeal to you?

http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/00103102/

I have the Leather one and I could say it is really comfortable.

http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/20178865/

There is a mesh one that you can choose from either blue or green which both look very nice.

Not to mention that both the Leather type and the Mesh type have a 10 YEAR WARRANTY.

Edit: Also, the mesh one is cheaper by like $30 because obviously, Leather is more premium. :^)
