I actually amazed that someone has made a application that uses more than 2 threads :P

 

Blender uses all 8 cores of my FX 8370.

Most CPU's have saftey measures inplace, and will force your computer to shutdown/reboot before damaging itself

I don't see what is wrong with it, loads in games are never 100% all of the time unless your CPU is to low and it working it's balls off.

It's fine, as long as the temperatures are low. If your CPU temperatures rises above 75 degrees celcius, you might want to check the cooler.
