G1 GTX 970 crashing on MineCraft with Shaders

My display drivers randomly crash when I play minecraft with a shaders mod installed... i'm not sure if it is the mod itself or if it is the card... looking for some help

what version of minecraft are you using?

  1. Make sure you are using the latest drivers.
  2. If you have any overclocks in your system, remove them. Run at stock speeds.
  3. Remove the mods.

Try those in order. Albeit the 3rd is the most likely, 1 and 2 might help you out.

Minecraft and GTX 970 don't mix very well...

I suppose I can't say that though, because, yes, I Minecraft, bruh

You dare asking about crashing when you have an OC'ed card? Blasphemy! (jk jk)

 

Either reduce the current OC, or get rid of it altogether.
