GTX960 showdown.

hak4fun

I decided to compare the GTX960 to other similarly priced GPUs, and this is what I found!

The GTX960 is nothing special. It isn't a great sweetspot GPU, a R9 285 will beat it by 10-20FPS in most games for the same price.

Here is the full written article with a bunch of fancy graphs and comparisons and such.

I'm not trying to hate, but i quickly glanced over the Battlefield 4 and Bioshock Infinite results, and they don't seem correct.  Specifically, you are reporting higher FPS on Battlefield than Bioshock with the 960.  That doesn't seem correct at all.

Depends on the title that the 285 beats it by. For example, the 960 Strix beats the 285 in Battlefield 4 at 1080p. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/nvidia-geforce-gtx-960,4038-4.html

I will rerun my benchmarks, I might of just reported them wrong... Thanks for pointing that out.

I got a 3FPS difference inbtween the 960, and the r9 285, which doesn't really matter much to me.

I'm referring to Bioshock being much easier to run than Battlefield, regardless of the card being benchmarked.

I am looking at them again right now, seeing if maybe I calculated something wrong. They didn't quite seem right for me either, but I looked at other peoples benchmarks and they were pretty close to the same. Like 3-6FPS difference.

That better? http://hatnews.tk/960-showdown/ I think I screwed up my settings well I was benchmarking. I checked em against other benchmarks, and they seem to be right.
