PCIe USB card OR hub

I'm running out of USB ports, somehow. So, I need a nice looking little USB 2.0 (maybe even 3.0) USB hub or card. If it's a hub, a 1 foot long wire and 4 ports would be nice, and as not-bulky as possible. Might need to be a powered hub too. If it's a card, PCIe x1, black PCB, and generally nice looking.

If you plan on running multiple usb devices all using tons of data, yes. However, I would still say go with a card over the hub.

If you plan on running multiple usb devices all using tons of data, yes. However, I would still say go with a card over the hub.

This will only be for two controllers, a printer, and something else that I have forgotten. And I don't want you to tell me what I should get, more a link to what I should get. :P

a hub should be fine. mice and keyboards dont really use that much bandwidth (i have no proof for this, mind you, but since there are only 103 keys on a keyboard, that data could easily fit onto a mere 7 bits per keystroke)

 

a hub might introduce some latency, but not much. if you're a super intense gamer, i'd say plug the mouse and keyboard directly into the usb ports. everything else like the printer can be loaded onto a hub
