CPU Folding Faster Than GPU?

Go to solution Solved by tobben,

It's in my signature.......

i don't want to look in your signature though, and i have no idea if this is the machine

in your signature or not. Presenting related information in your post would be much

easier, much appreciated and make everything easier.

Your cpu and gpu are 2 different pieces of hardware with different functionality and

they are working on different wu's. Even different gpu wu's will have varying deadlines,

sizes and time to calculate. Your gpu is getting a ppd of 132k, i would make a guess

and say that your cpu isn't getting nearly a fraction of that.

First things first, I am a complete noob at folding. But it seems as though my cpu is folding faster than my gpu. post-110846-0-20369000-1422020887.jpg It also seems to be going quite slowly, have I not configured my settings properly or something?

GPU's are generally getting more demanding WU's that take longer times than CPU ones.

The WU my CPU is currently working on is at 17% and ETA of 90 minutes. Where as my GPU is at 26% and a ETA of 10 hours.
