NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 STRIX from ASUS

LinusTech

The card isn't bad at all, but coming from a GTX 660 I would not upgrade to this card, I would rather go for the GTX 970 if so.

So the R9 270 performs about the same or better, for like $50 cheaper? Hmm.

Haha, nice try. :P

You know I was quicker.

Welp, looks like I'm sticking with my 7970 for at least another generation.

I'm that guy with the GPD Win.

I was excited for the card but its performance in games.. Meh. Not really a bad card but doesn't meet the excitement Nvidia created for it.

Not happy with the price/performance :/

It's NVIDIA, what do you expect? AMD do better price/performance while NVIDIA just do performance.

There should a badge for wrecking @LinusTech

Or maybe 'Beat Linus to post his own video'

He also still has his Santa hat on.

I don't know where they are or even if a thread exists for them.

Way to pricy.

A used 100$ 7950 beats it

Did he say the displayports are 1.3?

Is that true?

If so, VRR support?

I really don't get the point of this card.

1. The 970 has a better bang for the buck.

2. There are better cards from AMD for the same price point.

3. Not worth the upgrade from 700 series.

4. 2GB of RAM...not exactly future proof. There are already some AAA games that need 3GB to run at max settings at 1080p.

I'd buy it only for a quiet media PC running a 4k tv.

It's going to be a worthy upgrade for coming from a MSI GTX 460 Talon Attack OC'd to 1 Ghz. Plus, I want to have my GPU idle without the fans spinning, so I can leave my PC on at night without the noise.

Performance looked great and I like the design Asus did for it.
But the prices for the 960's was a huge letdown it still seems like the Red team still has the better bang for the buck considering you can get a 285 which is a bit better than the 960 for a bit less or a bit or more.
