Far cry 4 runs really smothly

zappian

Yea.. But still, its a quite good game. Nice gameplay, nice graph, nice environment, but terrible framerate (people said so)

But to me, 55 FPS is ok. Since im using 60Hz IPS panel anyway.

You should be getting 55 fps on ULTRA with that card.

Im tired of ubisoft dick ridders on this forum.

The game has optimization problems face it , TB has 980 SLI and has horrible framerate spikes.

I thought he had 780ti a month ago, but who cares. a single 970 should be able to drive this game at 60fps, if it wasn't for bad programming on the port

A single 780ti should be able to come pretty close to that.

I think there inst a single pc on the planet that can run the game at locked 60 , which is sad.

Yeaa.. Mostly people here are using 60Hz panel. There is no point on getting more than 60 FPS anyway. As long as u can get the highest setting. U're in a perfect condition already with 45-60 FPS

Well on my 980 with all settings maxed and AA on smaa i get anywhere between 60-80fps....which to me is awful at 1080p.
I't obviously smooth for me but that frame rate can not be justified.

I can't even open it on my PC :/.

It opens and closes instantly, tried re-installing and putting it on different ssds, trying different drivers as well. No luck.

My friend @MegaDave91 said sometimes maxwell has issues with fc4 or something

Not FarCry 4 per se, but I've read users (some) having trouble playing BF4 with their Maxwell card(s).

Both those games run like crap at 1440x900.

But both these games runs really smooth on my PC at Ultra. Watch Dogs at 40 - 50 FPS and Assassins Creed Unity 32-40 FPS.
