Do you shop around, or mostly buy your components from one retailer?

SteveGrabowski

U do realiae that partpicker is not a retailer? Its only a website built to find best prices from retailers.

Thinking about it just now I do realise that

I buy mostly from NCIX normally but recently I've been buying elsewhere when I need my stuff quickly. I'll pay a couple bucks at Amazon if I know I'll get it in 2 to 3 days instead of 2 to 30 days.

I buy most of my stuff from Amazon, because they generally have the lowest prices.

Also, I can take advantage of Amazon's Prime 1-day delivery...

Sig under construction.

I will check prices off of PCPartPicker but normally get info from NewEgg. I have a Prime account, so I will always check to see if Amazon has a decent price on it. I have ordered from TigerDirect before with pretty good results, but thats about it.

So yes, I shop around.

Sometimes i troll...

I used to buy it wherever, but now I really only buy it at Azerty, a dutch retailer which has excellent service and shipment together with good prices.

So many things I could write here... things like this.

I am loyal to the almighty micro center 10 minutes from my house. To which I make the pilgrimage very often. It is also one of the things that I will not live at least an hour away from no matter where I live when that time comes to pass.

Hi there. Move along, n0thing to see here.

Shop around a bit, I usually check CCL Online (because it's local) and Novatech or Amazon if I'm just looking for a rough price, I try not to buy from Amazon but if it's madly cheaper I will.

Thank you.

Wardojack.

For me, most of my parts buying is done at Scorptech, MSY, or PCCase Gear (All within walking distance of my work).

Here you can only buy PC parts from MSY. There's nowhere else to go apart from online, in that case PC Case Gear.

If its an irl retail store...nope.

I live in Adelaide, literally the most boring place in the entire universe.

I can get online stores fine (probably), I just have always bought from PCCG and that is my preference.

I usually try to find the cheapest price on a part and that shop is usually the cheapest in my country. If not, the prices are maybe 1eur higher so I still buy from them becuse of shipping fees

Longboarders/ skaters message me!

I prefer either Newegg or Amazon, but I'll shop around if it's alot cheaper.

Newegg is my favorite though.

My uncle is a retailer, so... I even get stuff for significantly cheaper :) he has to order things in though so when it's a small purchase I usually don't bother him and go with amazon.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

I find PCPP to be horribly unreliable.

I really only like buying from Newegg due to their RMA policy, plus it's usually a good deal.
