Why hasn't Logitech gotten into mechanical keyboards?

Why hasn't Logitech gotten into the mechanical keyboard business? They only have a couple of mechanicals.. They have been in the peripherals business for a very long time and can certainly make membranes. Their only mechanical I know of is the G710+.

As far as I know, they have three models with mechanical switches. G710, G710+, and the G910.

G910 is RGB and using Romer-G switches. Where as G710 is using MX Blue, and G710+ MX Browns.

They have their Orion Spark keyboard too, that being said it would be stupid for them to have several different mech boards.

g710+ is okay, only thing I read bad about is that keycaps break somehow (how can a keyboard cap break I have NO idea.)

I know Linus is a personal fan of the G710+

I have a g710+, can't fathom how you would break the key caps without abusing them. I have had a k70 before, the caps didn't feel different to me.

What the hell is a Romer-G switch

exactly, there's a reason you haven't heard much about them, because of the keyboard they come attached to

I have used both my brother's G710+ and his K95 RGB. Weirdly enough, they both felt a bit different from both of my Ducky's with the same MX Brown switches.

It wasn't by much though, just a little bit. I'm sure it was the o-rings for the G710+, and the PCB mounting of the switches for the K95. I don't know, though.

And as for the Romer-G switches. Linus' liked the switched himself, said that it was one of the more responsive keyboards that he had ever typed on. What ruined it for him was the keycaps that they used for the keyboard.

If I was a rich boy I would just buy it and replace all the keycaps lol. And I am thinking it was the PCB mounting because I am actually using a few k70 key caps on my g710+

A switch made by OMRON.

Yeah, they should've just used Cherry switches. I typed on an Orion Spark once and it was probably the worst typing experience I've ever had
