How intelligent are you in general? (Be honest!)

I would NOT classify myself as a genius, at all, most people overestimate themselves.

 

I am certainly average, maybe above that a tiny bit. (I am sure I would acquire 100 IQ points at the very least in such an official test)

 

Sometimes logic escapes me, making me think things that don't make sense, but that is only on like  day-dream level.

 

I would like to be a bit smarter but I can't really help it I suppose, I am who I am, I can only study more.

 

So what are you? Brainiac? Loveable dummy? Boring average?

I'm not the most intelligent person ever, but I always try and push myself when I am learning going above and beyond what the teacher recommends. Also the more you struggle with a task, the more the brain learns. Failure is always an option on your way to success.

iq test at uni was 135 and i do get 130~ on all those stupid free raven tests. I also read quite fast and I do fine in uni. And I got up to diamond in league and im dmg in cs:go, I do okay at most games. However I am really impatient and it's hard for me to concentrate.

According to most IQ tests, I'm below average. I usually score between 80-90.

I think that is pretty accurate. While I'm perfectly fine, I am aware that most people are smarter than I am.

Asian, IQ of ~145, top of class in terms of everything related to science (Physics, Chem, Bio), technology, social studies, business and online marketing, just a bit above average in everything else so you can judge me yourself. I do sometimes make really stupid mistakes though

 

edit: it might just be that I study in a class with really dumb students though

Yeah of course if it's about pc's we are the bosses in our surroundings but otherwise... (btw, it seems we are excellent at English too, being on this forum and all)

I think there are two kinds of smart. Being "book smart" (Good at school, good grades blah blah) and being smart on life (Generally being more logic and knowledge of information, in most cases useless info)

 

An example: My gf is great in school and much smarter than me, ill have her that. But when it comes to simple logic and daily tasks outside school, i can't help but facepalm sometimes hehe This goes for most of friends too..

I have an iq of 135 and can understand most new concepts easily, but I can't work for very long without breaks, so I don't do amazingly well in school.

I think just understanding of average is quite different. IQ averages do depend on country and on the intellect itself, some people can't multiply in their head, but that does not mean they aren't intellectual.

Average IQ is also different in the world.

That's the problem, there are many kinds, that's why I said  'In general'

I don't consider myself as "smart" I am reasonably capable of deductive reasoning and I have an above average memory as I seem to recall a lot of details about subjects I'm interested in. Most people that are not smart would consider me "smart" because they don't know the difference between quickly recalling a lot of details and use just average deducting reasoning to put things together and actually being very smart and do the same without the need for previous knowledge and details which is actually being smart in my book.
