Silent Fans with Excellent Cooling for H100i

hoaxy32

Hi all,

I'm currently using a push pull configuration on my Corsair H100i with 4 x SP120's. But running it from the on board fan controller on the H100i they only operate at one speed as they are not PWM fans, thus being a little loud. I know this isn't ideal but I'd like to know all your suggestions on some new ones. So I'm looking for PWM fans that are silent but have great cooling, I'd also like to keep the color scheme red and black to match the rest of my build.

I've had a look at the BitFenix Spectre Pro's but not sure if there is any better options.

If you need anymore info then let me know.

Thanks for all the suggestions in advance :)

What kind of mobo do you have? If you switch the fan control mode to dc you can change the speed of the SP120 just fine. Im running one on my CPU heatsink and can barely hear it atm.

I have an Asus Crosshair V Formula-Z, But i run these SP120's directly from the H100i Block itself as I can use the Corsair Link software to control them but as they are not PWM the Corsair Link software has no affect when I try change the speeds

Then just connect it to the mobo and control them that way instead of wasting money on new fans...

I must say you do have a good point, I just had that burning urge to buy some new ones but I guess I could just use the mobo option

Noctua Fans are nice quiet

look terrible though.

Our Grace. The Feathered One. He shows us the way. His bob is majestic and shows us the path. Follow unto his guidance and His example. He knows the one true path. Our Saviour. Our Grace. Our Father Birb has taught us with His humble heart and gentle wing the way of the bob. Let us show Him our reverence and follow in His example. The True Path of the Feathered One. ~ Dimboble-dubabob III
