console gaming on korean monitor Troubleshooting

stavrosvorkas

I know there have been a number of threads similar, but it is more of me trying to see if I have options I haven't explored. My monitor is an X-star Dp2710, this monitor has served me well for all my PC needs 2 date, but I have recently bought an xbox one for the sole purpose of playing forza on it. I have tried to use a DVI to HDMI dongle with no positive results. The screen goes in a mode that basically won't find a signal. Is there anything else I can try that may work? I thought about a capture card but I am 99% sure that there will be noticeable delay and probably render unplayable..

Have you tried cycling through all available inputs?

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

sudo chmod -R 000 /*

Try another cable/adapter. There is no reason it shouldn't work.

I have tried 3 different cables/adaptors :o I am wondering if there is like an external hub that converts signals and if something like that would work:o

I don't see why it would need to convert the signals. Surely it's just a matter of wiring right?
