morning!

 

     i guess this is the proper area to post this lol. My cousin is a fellow WoW addict and is looking to get a gaming laptop for work just to play WoW. Good old security guard jobs... but it pays and there is WiFi! His budget is 1k max but I know there is something out there for less that can play Warlods of Draenor and have his add ons. No Crysis/BF4/Skyrim etc. Just WoW to run dungeons and farm stuff. There is a shell shocker today-

for 940.00 plus Cali sales tax this thing sounds like its a beast. Is it over kill for what he wasnts to do with it? Kinda bummed he waited till after the holiday season to buy something but w/e- tax return season soon!

 

Any other gaming lap tops around that are cheaper and equal to or just as good as this? Hell, I might buy one too! Prefferbly somethign with a SSD so it loads faster! 1TB is way to much fo rwhat he wants to do with it!

I suggest a laptop with a 970M as the new expansion is actually quite demanding to run.

i put 970M in newegg search and wow.. 1600-2400... to much to play warcraft imo

1K max. a few years ago i had a gateway i paid 550 for and waas able to run wow fine on medium settings so im on that frame of mind.
