Nexus 6 by Motorola

I was expecting at least a micro USB 3.0 port

Why are you posting shit at midnight? You should be asleep.

This is when I always post stuff... And I don't ever sleep. Literally slept 90 minutes last night then traveled to Vegas and started CES #nosleepteam

You've literally got  to stop posting stuff at midnight. Give us Americans a chance to see it too when we wake up in the morning. Plus, you live in the same timezone as me in Vancouver, so you should be sleeping at this moment.

Just go read another mamual until you sleep.

We've found that midnight PT is actually a great release time for a large portion of our audience.

I thought half the audience was awake during the morning hours PT.

i was looking at getting a nexus 6 and reached pretty much the same conclusion linus did. It feels like google upped the price on nexus phones and yet didn't up the quality compared to the old ones to a level expected for the extra cash.

I did indeed. I was surprised by Linus saying he thought the screen looked great.

The screen is one of the worst aspects of it. Pathetic brightness and the calibration is so bad you'd think it was done by a blind person.

I am so pissed at Google for the Nexus 6 and 9 so the more negative reviews they get the better.

That effect when comparing photos (at about 5 minutes in) was great. Very good idea and it made it very easy to compare photos. Two thumbs up for that.

It's music to my ears to hear someone else complain about the camera app as well. The new API will be fantastic though. Right now, if your stock camera app sucks (like on the Nexus devices) then you're shit out of luck because third party cameras will be even worse (because the APIs are terrible). With the new Camera2 APIs we will hopefully get third party cameras which will be great.

Edit: I should never have looked in the comments section... It's full of Nexus 6 fanboys saying that it is the best device on the market when it's obvious that the Note 4 is better in every single way except TouchWiz (which is kind of subjective anyway).

If Google want to charge premium prices then they should at least be as good as their competitors.

Great review guys! I have a Nexus 5 and was really unimpressed when I learned about Nexus 6.

I did notice something that seemed strange:

Nexus 6 Camera

I do think, that's 720p@120hz. Someone forgot to change what they copy/pasted :)
