[Build Log] Vulpes - Parvum Systems S2.0 Custom Acrylic Tubed Watercooling mATX PC

Random_her0

What are you going to change exactly? I've looked back through your posts a bit but I couldn't find it. I can just see that you've removed the GPU.  ^_^

1) GPU is out

2) Have mounted two, vinyl-wrapped HDD

3) Have changed the res from a 150 to a 250 and pushed it to the right.

4) Added an easier way to drain the loop (that's what the fitting on top of the front HDD is for)

Think that's it haha, may be something else I've forgotten

OMG, it looks so empty!

Just doing some spring cleaning to make room for something new :)

Have taken a step back and decided (for once) to be smart and patient.

I know for certain that I will be upgrading the GTX690 to something beefier, with the latest tech and more vram, but perhaps the Titan X isn't the way to go.

What I'll do is wait for AMD's 390x announcement to get a better idea for the GPU landscape of 2015 and make a decision from there.

One of the big things for me is G-Sync and FreeSync and I'll need a new monitor for that, but I'll wait to make a graphics card decision before choosing rather than let the monitor force my hand. I want a 2560x1440 (sweet spot, IMO) 144Hz TN or IPS and there should be something available that meets those criteria for both technologies by May/June which is around the time I expect AMD to launch their 300 series.

Until then I don't expect to have many updates to Vulpes, but I'm currently working on another build, Frankenstein, which I encourage you to follow. I'll also be starting another mitx build (BitFenix Phenom) within the next 2 weeks, so be on the lookout for that.
