hi do i remove the motherboard standoffs if i dont need it? or just keep it

i mean the ones that i dont need? like my matx board have mounts but there are extra do i remove those?

if there is a standoff that is meant to support a larger board that you don't have just leave it so you don't lose it, if you're installing a board of the appropriate size you need all of them
