Should i change this overclock in any way

hey linus community i have just freshly overclocked my gtx 980

1500mhz core

1838mhz memory

and i set my power to 110

 

heres my 3d mark http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/5137538? im in the top 97% hell yes!

 

is there anything i should change

Is this a 100mhz/200mhz overclock with no voltage changes from stock? I found that beyond 100mhz/200mhz without increasing voltage causes many programs to crash.

its 171mhz higher than what it started with

If the temps allow it, push the card further on the core clock. When you start getting artifacts/crashes, try bumping up the voltage, but very little at a time. It'll take some time but you will achieve a stable config around 1600MHz if you got lucky with the chip, might even go further.

what do you mean by artifacts?

because after about 150mhz i would get some random flashes of colour every now and then

btw it wont let me adjust the voltage in afterburner

You have to go into the setting and unlock Voltage.
