Deciding between these 2 wifi extender

atrash

My current BT Home Hub router signal is so damn weak even when my room is only about 10-15metres straight from the router with two not so thick walls, I only get about 40% signal strength on my macbook. After doing some research I think what I need is a wifi extender. I've listed down these two wifi extender; TP-Link TL-WA850RE 300Mbps & Netgear EX2700 300Mbps . Which one should I get and why? If you are in UK, do you know anywhere else I can get better deals on a good wifi extender? Thanks

It has been my experience that wifi extenders just never work properly, drop connections, have sub-par throughput, etc.  I recommend a powerline ethernet adapter instead of a wifi extender.  Something like this:  http://www.tp-link.com/en/products/details/?model=TL-PA101  would do the trick and be a lot less headache in the long run.  Then you can plug in your macbook pro and not have to worry about choppy wifi anymore.  Hope this helps, Merry Christmas!

Unfortunately my mbp doesn't have any ethernet port and I also need the wifi for my phone and tablet.

Sorry about that...  I have zero experience with either device, but after doing a little research both devices do the same thing, both are reviewed pretty much the same.  So really it comes down to cost...  I'm not familiar with the british pound, but it appears on amazon the TP-Link TL-WA850RE is cheaper.
