Still a decent board for around 60 usd.

Its not compatible with the i7-4790k, Bro Beans.  You would need a BIOS update, which can only be done by already having a Haswell processor.  Maybe it comes factory loaded with the most recent BIOS, but its something to consider just in case it doesn't work.

I am pretty hopeful it will work as technically it is classified under february bios update for basic support and according to my serial number the board was made later than february (I believe)

Yes, I would hate to postpone trying out crossfire 290x's for a bit.

 

 

Edit: I have 2 weeks before the new 290x leaves me and I want to get at least one modded skyrim session in.
