It will work easily, no pressure :)

I use them too, some of my pins are blocked by the h100i and I am too lazy to remove it to put em in.

Dont get a splitter get a NZXT Fan hub will work a lot better

(sorry for noob question)

So I have an MSI Z87 G45, which has 3 system fan headers, but I have 6 fans installed (currently connected to the manual fan controller in the case).

I saw that online you can get Y-splitters for the 3 pin fan connectors, so I could conceivably have 2 on each header (?)

Just wanted to check whether I might be asking too much of my motherboard :)

 

Fans are all cheap NZXT ones:

3x 140mm LED

1x 140mm (normal)

1x 120mm LED

1x 120mm (normal)
