I can't figure out the best way to cool Fractal Node 605

The Case sits in my Studio Rack and that's why I bought the case. I'm looking to build a custom case to replace this but that wont be till later next year. For now, this is what I have to work with.

I'm only able to overclock the i7-4790K to 4.3Ghz at 1.230 Volts to keep temps down far enough in Aida64 benchmark with out CPU Throttling.

Motherboard: Asus Maximus Formula Vii

CPU: Intel 4790K

Graphics: EVGA GTX 980 SC

Ram: 32gig Kingston HyperX Savage 1600Mhz CL9 Quad Kit 4x8 (Can't overclock XMP higher than 1600 for some reason? any help would be great)

Fans: 3x Noctua NF-F12 Industrial PPC 2000rpm 3pins

Fans: 2x Noctua NF-R8 1800rpm PWM 4pins

CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-L12

Drives: 2x SanDisk 256gig SSD (Raid 0)

I have tons of cooling power in my mind, but there has to be a better way to place the fans or something? the right side of the case has intake and exhaust almost cancelling eachother out, I was debating putting a divider inbetween them... would that help?

I'd use one or both of side fans as intake. Something like divider might help but as CPU cooler is so close to them, the effect is minimal. The right rear fan is somewhat useless as it will take air coming from one of the side fans. Are you having problems with CPU cooling? I haven't got any experience from low profile coolers but maybe you could flip the fan around and see how it effects on temps.

Thanks, when I put my case into my desk rack it throttles so I can't run my 4790k above stock. If I flip the right side to both intake, would the dual 80mm rear fans be enough for exhaust? The noctua nh-l12 cooler shoots air down at the cpu as per stock settings. Should I change it around? I took the two white hdd trays out and mounted my two SSD's to the front side of the case. I only use two 256gig in raid0 for minimal heat.

Out of the Rack I can get a stable 4.5Ghz with my 1600Mhz 32gig ram ocerclocked to 2133mhz and my gtx 980 overclocked to 1466mhz.

The Rack is killing my systems potential but I have very limited space. Maybe I'm missing something, the key to cooling my system in a small space? My rack has no back so it's a hollow 3 foot space behind the computer

As seeing that you have plenty of free space behind it, maybe switching both rear fans as intake and keeping rear-side as intake also. So the other side fan could do the exhausting. As for CPU cooler, I really think you could try switching it around. It's pity that Node hasn't got any vents on top to help out.

Downwards airflow is best for the NH-L12.

The issue is probably due to the size and airflow direction of the heatsink. A tower/rad exhausting towards exhaust fans or a larger heatsink should fix your issue.
