Can two 970ftw run 4k

Matt255
Go to solution Solved by othertomperson,

Without AA they'll get 60 fps in any reasonably optimised game.

High without AA 40fps should be doable on just about every game, but two 290x's would be a much better option for the same price at 4k.

290X won't be able to use G-SYNC.

Yea I completely skipped over that my bad @Matt255, two 970s would probably be the better option because of G-Sync.

But i see these have better benchmarks then the 290x and they use less power and i have 750w

Yea two 290x's is likely cutting it pretty close with a 750 watt PSU.

290x's generally perform better than 970's at 4k, but 970s barely edge ahead at 1080p, however, they consume less power and put out less heat than 290x's, which is why (I would assume) they're generally picked for 1080p.
