The Best 2560X1440 Monitor thats good for gaming?

LaserBoss

What would you guys say is the best 2560x1440 monitor thats good for gaming? Not like the ASUS ROG Swift because that has G-sync and is extremely pricey because of it. Anything half decent in terms of price?

If you're not willing to spend a reasonable amount I'm not sure you'll get a good 1440p monitor that is deemed good for gaming. I got my q270se for $275 NZD but it's not that great for gaming (relative) because of the response time of the IPS panel.

I have a PB278Q and its amazing, looks great, nice little features like disabling the on light, very rich and vibrant colours, great viewing angles, games look amazing on it. Just depends whether you want to spend that much money on a monitor.

I'd say the GW2765HT.  It's glossy, anti-flicker(no PWM like the PB278Q), and it's an AHVA panel, so exceptionally good panel with 4ms GtG(Not really important, but some people shop by that).  It's also $340 right now on some sites.

PB278Q has decent input lag, I currently have an AOC q2770pqu which uses the same panel as the Asus and it's fine for gaming. Admidedly it looks pretty laggy next to my XL2420Z even with both at 60Hz, but whatever I'll take the extra space and those colors any day.

Asus PB278q is a brilliant monitor! I use it at work since I am a graphic designer, I love the colours on it! Havant tried it for gaming yet but thinking about getting it for gaming.

4ms response time is also a bonus. This is very high up there on my shopping list. marginally more expensive then those Korean A- monitors, yet it's coming from local sellers and with a 3 year warranty.
