DP965 and SSD?

Tenge500

Are SSD's and DP965 (mobo) compatible? Will I be able to use any SSD which have a molex 4 pin connector? Will I be able to boot from SSD considering my mainboard is 8 years old (intel dp965lt)?

Is it an IDE SSD with molex connectors? If so it should have no problem booting. SATA ones however need to be set to run in IDE mode and compatible. (My Asus mobo of about the same age doesn't like SATA drives even with SATA 2.0 ports)
