Should I get Metro 2033 or Last Light?

Firearm2112

I have never played a Metro game before, but it looks amazing and since steam has sales on both games, I'm thinking of picking one up. Which is better? Is the 'redux' version worth it over the normal version?

Thanks

If you are going for 2033, the Redux version is a must. The first one can be completly unplayable.

Personally, I thought Last Light was a better game, but they are both amazing.

You don't need to play 2033 before Last Light, but I would recommend it.

I liked 2033 better.

the non redux version is not unplayable.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

2033 redux is a must, it uses all the improvments they did for last light.

last light is also great game, again get the redux version.

I didn't say it was unplayable, I said it could be.

If you are playing it with 4xMSAA at a high resolution, the framerate tanks more than it should.
