Think that was a good deal?

It was on community choice sale.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

I liked it. But it's kind of a short game unless you have the version with all dlc

Good gunplay, Good art style, decent backstory. However they should have done a better job of making the player feel motivated and that your actions matter to some core narrative. Most of the game feels like You are doing menial sidequests.

I thought it was a pretty good game.  Sadly, it was meant to have a sequel and they canceled it.  It's pretty as heck though, and a lot of fun.  For 5 bucks I think it's a good value.
