NZXT H440 Razer Edition vs Corsair Carbide Air 540

Go to solution Solved by kpreg,

It's all personal opinion. I like the H440 Razer Edition because of the super nice lighting (front logo, downwards-facing lightstrips on the bottom, power button, and PSU shroud cover).

I also like the Air 540 becuase of the huge side window and seamless cable management. The dual chamber separation improves cooling potential.

This is some stuff that I find important when case shopping, and I rated those categories for each case. (Out of 10)

                                   Air 540   H440

Airflow-                         9             7

Cable Management     10           8

Side Window-              10            6

Looks-                          5             9

Dust Proofing-              2             9

Good luck!

are they both just as good and I'll just have to choose which one I prefer more? or is there more than meets the eye?

You say it like you're being forced to get one. Not really in the same class. How much crap are you trying to put in it, how limited on expansion do you wonna be? Are you concerned about footprint?

As someone who is looking at both of these cases, I also want to know which case is better. Im throwing a I7 4790 with atx mobo in, a geforce gtx 770 (with aspirations for sli in the future) and two 3.5 HDD and 2 SSD's. I would like to do watercooling with whatever case I get, at least on the CPU.

What about the Phanteks Enthoo Luxe?

On a mote of dust, suspended in a sunbeam
