MattP123

What is the best mechanical keyboard I can get with mx brown switched or something similar? I have no budget and live in the US.

Go over there, pick out your switches, o-rings, keycap printing and colours. Great boards if you like being able to get exactly what you want. Just a bit expensive if you just want a plain black with normal everything :P (still high quality though)

Case: Meatbag, humanoid - APU: Human Brain version 1.53 (stock clock) - Storage: 100TB SND (Squishy Neuron Drive) - PSU: a combined 500W of Mitochondrial cells - Optical Drives: 2 Oculi, with corrective lenses.

If you want a nice and simple keyboard, something from Ducky or Das. If you want a bit more bling and show, something like a K70 or K70 RGB from Corsair and the Quickfire TK series from Cooler Master.

That's what I was looking at, but now I can't decide which colors to get. I think I might get completely blank black keys, but I don't really know the media keys that well. :/

You can save configs and have a look at them later if you wanna think about it

Deck Hassium keyboards are the only full sized boards I'm aware of that have PBT key-caps. I'm using it to type this and I can tell you it's a fucking monster!

export PS1='\[\033[1;30m\]┌╼ \[\033[1;32m\]\u@\h\[\033[1;30m\] ╾╼ \[\033[0;34m\]\w\[\033[0;36m\]\n\[\033[1;30m\]└╼ \[\033[1;37m\]'

You may not for sure want browns. Check the link in my sig for more info there and take that quiz too.

Also, do you want back lighting etc?

If you want blank-ish keycaps, the Cooler Master Quickfire Stealth might be up your alley. If you just want quiet and don't care about not having a tactile bump, this one with reds would suit you well.

Well if we want to be technical, the "best" keyboard is the OTD 356cl , but good luck finding one to buy for under $2000 lol

It is full aluminum, the design is flawless, it is extremely rare (only around 50-100 of them were made), and for the most part only Koreans from team redline own them.

Filco Majestouch. Filco have some of the best build quality on the market these days. Though, they do cost a premium, you wont want another keyboard ever again.

What do they know of England, who only England know?

Most people actually prefer the 84 key style!
