Custom Built PC VS. Mac Pro

I'd just get the Mac Pro and probably the new Dell 5K display.    One of the guys a couple cubes over from me at work has one (Mac Pro) on his desk.  It's plenty quiet.

It too is well above 20 db. Even at idle.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

Even if some one can accurately measure decibels of a running computer, 20dBs isn't that loud.    Without an anechoic chamber, any measurements will be heavily skewed by everything else in the environment.   Not to mention the questionable trustworthiness/accuracy of measuring equipment used by any amateur that doesn't have a soundproof chamber.

So from what I've been told so far, for the price the Mac Pro is the best future-proof and quietest PC for $6,000.

The Mac Pro can't runt the Dell 5K Monitor, since that requieres two displayport 1.2 connections, but the Mac Pro only has one, and six thunderbolt/mini displayport cables.

Honestly I think I'm going to buy the Mac Pro with or two Dell P2715Q or two Asus PQ321Q's

Which monitor(s) are better?
