new graphics card cant get it to work

saveaho831

i can not get a pic on screen when i install my new card . my new card is a radeon hd5450, my pc is a i will just post link so u can see specs on it,      http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c00910224&tmp_track_link=ot_faqs/top_issues/en_us/c00910224/loc:1&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&product=3380263#N108 . once i install it new card i can not get a pic on screen with card oir from my mother board. no signal at all. the card is brand new. i was hoping i could possibly install drivers on my pc first then install card. then my pc would automatically search for them. and possibly turning on. but no such luck from cd i get with new card. i can open it and do a manual install but not to sure about how to go about putting them in right place or if it would even work. my question is, has anybody had same problem and how can i got about fixing this. i have posted below all info on my pc. just incase it might help.

Which slot did you put the card in? It needs to go in the black one. And you need to plug the monitor into the new card, not the connector you had been using.
