My dilemma, Graphic or Phone.

Go to solution Solved by Skeleknights,

Phone, 2 980's are overkill except for specific situations.

The phablet.

Because your monitor is just 1080p, and one 980 is already overkill.

Because your phone is the one with a problem (although it looks like it may be fixable)

Because the Note 4 costs less than a 980 unless your getting ripped off.

Since you're still gaming at 1080p, I'd say the phone. I assume you'll be using the phone every day, and won't be intensively gaming every single day.

Phone no doubt.

Phone

Phone because your Graphics card is powerful enough to play at 1080p with the latest game titles

Exactly. And, your PC is working fine, but your phone does not.

Just get the phone

Get the phone bro!

Secondary monitor? Seriously, once you go dual-monitor, you never go back.

Anywhoo, if your current phone is having issues, replace it with a new phone.. I'm running a single 980 at 1440p and it doesn't have any troubles, so dual 980s is just complete overkill for 1080p gaming.

As a proud owner of the Note 4, this is a no-brainer. Go for the sick phone. I absolutely love mine and I don't see myself needing an upgrade for a long, long time.

Yeah, the Edge is cool for a concept, but I would still take the Note 4 over it. Plus, I believe I read that the Edge was sold out?

its a headache to play with 2 monitors because of the bezels. I had 2x bezeless LG IPS 60Hz Monitors and it wasn't up to my taste LOL. I even got sick from staring at the screens when gaming.

It would depend. I voted for the card but am thinking towards the phone now. How often do you really watch videos on your phone? I guess I do a decent amount but not enough to where I would buy a new one JUST for that. Honestly I say phone I guess now that I read others statements. If you are just running 1080p two 980s would be pretty damn overkill unless you are planning to upgrade your monitor soon.

Just get an old nokia 3310 from ebay. You will have fun composing your own ringtones and playing space impact. Also you will only have to charge it once a week. Then spend the remaining money on something crazy.
